A collaborative effort between MYOP and The Food Bank Singapore to advocate sustainability during the December school holiday, provided families with insights into forest preservation's benefits in reducing food waste's environmental impacts.

The educational segment highlighted food insecurity, showcased existing initiatives to better manage the issue and encouraged parental involvement in championing the cause. The creative segment enabled children to craft pencils from individual components after acquiring interesting knowledge about raw materials and manufacturing processes.
Children also demonstrated support by decorating papers with vibrant colours and heartfelt wishes, which were distributed to beneficiaries alongside food donations courtesy of The Food Bank Singapore. In addition to the session, participants took home MYOP packages comprising creative and educational materials designed to facilitate continual learning about the extraordinary roles the Mighty Pencil plays in bridging communication, promoting self-discovery and gaining knowledge.
